I started Chutzpah Creative because I kept meeting brilliant small business owners whose online presence didn’t reflect their brilliance in real life…and I didn’t like that one little bit.
They had the results. The passion. The mission-driven work.
The clarity - in conversation.
But when it came to content? Their message got lost in translation.
That gap between who they are and how they show up online? That’s where I work best.
MY CONTENT JOURNEY - a brief history:
It all started at Notre Dame Uni, Fremantle, where I dove headfirst into film + storytelling.
During my Honours year with SCITECH Perth, I created a video series to spark science career dreams in regional Western Australian children.
(During this time, I edited wedding videos for extra $$$ - because nothing hones your video skills like three generations crying over a first dance.)
My first major piece of content was a student-produced promotional documentary for the Leeuwin Tall Ship Ocean Foundation in Fremantle, Perth. We learned later that this piece led to more funding for the nonprofit. That was my first taste of content that makes a difference.
Straight after graduating, I worked as a Studio Photographer at Viva! Photography. Clicked families, couples, babies, dogs, cats, models and ‘4-generations in one frame’ - you name it, I shot it.
Some of the most fun I’ve ever had.
The corporate world came calling when Amcom Telecommunications (now VOCUS) made me their
in-house Media Producer. I loved getting to know their products and services, and spent a major part of that job training employees on how to present their expertise on camera! Loved every moment.
The two loves of my life - media production & my faith came together when I got the opportunity to work as a Media Producer for the Archdiocese of Perth. Fun fact - I’ve worked with 2 Archbishops, and Catholic agencies that encouraged me to ‘use my gifts in service’ of the greater good.
I started Chutzpah Creative, then a video production business, and in 8 months, I had 23 clients.
Mind? Blown.
Life events led me to Sydney, where I managed the creative studio at Made Agency.
In the middle of client briefs, managing a team of 8, client-facing work and delivering deadlines, I also began to work on the digital presence of this agency, and how to shape content strategy that feels just as strong as the brand behind it.
Before long, I was running solo again.
Clients like Haymarket HQ, Banna Property Group, SSI in collaboration with Lendlease, Bright Program, New Heights Media, New Beginnings Festival, Hey Stamford Food Festival and also got to work with local supermarkets on their Instagram content strategy - all trusted me to elevate their online presence.
Whether it’s a local grocer or a festival with 30K+ attendees - what I love most is helping brands find the clarity and confidence to show up brilliantly.
